[The ASMR opens with crickets and gentle footsteps, much like the teaser. Two knocks at the door]

Fluttershy1 (Muffled): Oh! Coming!

[Pause - Door opens - Clock noises]

Fluttershy2 (Excited): Hi there! Come on in, you’re right on time!

Fluttershy3 : I just took the kettle off the stove. Just sit down and I’ll bring out the tea.


[Hoofsteps or Flapping wings. Flutters hums “A True True Friend”]

Fluttershy4 (Cautious): Alright. Now it’s very, very hot… so be careful.


Fluttershy5 : I hope it’s good. I’m trying something new. If you sniff carefully, you might be able to smell the lemon and honey.

Fluttershy6 : Oh! Before I forget! The funniest thing happened while I was in Twilight's Library today.

Fluttershy7 : I went there after feeding the chickens, since Mr. Cluckems gets cranky if he doesn't get his lunch on time, to pick up a book she was telling me about."

Fluttershy8 : I started reading it and my, it was quite fascinating.

Fluttershy9 : It was about how relaxing sounds and noises help animals sleep easier and have happy dreams.

Fluttershy10 : I know that sometimes, during thunderstorms, Harry the Bear will have bad dreams.

[Short Pause]

Fluttershy11 : W-well. Um. M-maybe it was for me too, a little.

Fluttershy12 : B-but, I started trying it out recently.

Fluttershy13 : I bought that coo-coo clock and it's gentle ticking helped me fall asleep right away.

Fluttershy14 : Since all I did was listen to the clock, I wasn't even distracted by Angel's snoring.

[Gentle thump(s): Angel’s foot]

Fluttershy15 : B-but he hates when I talk about that, isn't that right, Angel?

Fluttershy16 : Anyway, you should really try it out sometime.

Fluttershy17 : I'm sure if you had the right gentle sound, you would be able to fall asleep at night easier.

Fluttershy18 : Now that I mention it, I did have a bit of a silly dream.

Fluttershy19 : Do you wanna hear about it? It's okay if you don't want to...

[Short Pause]

Fluttershy20 : Really?

Fluttershy21 : Well, um. We were at a Carnival.

Fluttershy22 : T-twilight, Pinkie and Rainbow were there too, but they kept running off to go on Roller Coasters.

Fluttershy23 : B-but, I'm terrified of roller coasters, and I didn't want to be alone... so you stayed behind and we played games at the tents.

Fluttershy24 : There was this one game, where we had to use a little net to catch goldfish.

Fluttershy25 : And we won!

Fluttershy26 : But, I didn't want the poor little guy to be stuck in a bag all day...

Fluttershy27 : So we put him back into the game bucket, so maybe some other little filly could win him.

Fluttershy28 : Ooh! And we went to another tent where there were stacked cans.

Fluttershy29 : They gave us three balls to try and knock them all down, and I couldn't hit any of them.

Fluttershy30 : But, you knocked them all down in one throw!

Fluttershy31 : There was this big stuffed Tiger that you won.

Fluttershy32 : A-and you-

[Hesitation]

Fluttershy33 : Well, uhm. After that we met back up with Twilight and the others.

Fluttershy34 : It was a really nice dream.

[Rain should be noticeable by now]

Fluttershy35 : Oh my, when did it start raining?

Fluttershy36 : I sure hope I didn’t forget to fix the roof on Mr. and Mrs. Tweety’s home.

Fluttershy37 : It would be awful if it rained all over their new nest.

Fluttershy38 : Oh! Right, I did it this morning, before I went to the market.

Fluttershy39 : That reminds me!

Fluttershy40 : I saw the Apple Family while I was in the market today.

Fluttershy41 : They were selling Granny’s fresh apple pies.

Fluttershy42 : The smell of cinnamon and caramel filled the entire market as I did my shopping.

Fluttershy43 : By the time I got to their stall, I just had to try a piece.

Fluttershy44 : Have you ever had one of Granny’s pies before?

[Pause - leading question. only answer is no.]

Fluttershy45 : My goodness! How would I describe them?

Fluttershy46 : Granny’s pies are just like a little slice of heaven.

Fluttershy47 : They remind you of a time when things were just a little bit simpler.

Fluttershy48 : When ponies would smile at each other in the street, even if they didn’t know each other.

Fluttershy49 : They remind you of happy family memories.

Fluttershy50 : You know, the ones you think back on during the holiday season of a better time and there’s a warm, fluttering feeling in your chest? Those ones.

Fluttershy51 : You’ll have to try it yourself sometime.

Fluttershy52 : I’m sure you’ll be able to taste the love that goes into every bite.

Fluttershy53 : If I had known you haven’t had any before, I would have gotten one for you.

Fluttershy54 : I-if you would have wanted one, that is...

[Good Spot for a pause]

Fluttershy55 : Um, anyway. S-so.

Fluttershy56 : Are you going to the party at the Apple Family’s barn this weekend?

Fluttershy57 : I know Applejack has been working so hard to make sure that everything’s perfect.

Fluttershy58 : I heard that almost everypony in town is going to be there.

Fluttershy59 : Pinkie is working on all sorts of special treats for it.

Fluttershy60 : In fact, when I stopped by the bakery today, she let me try one of her special treats.

Fluttershy61 : Applejack let her take some of the orchard’s apples, and Pinkie made an amazing looking Caramel Apple Cake.

Fluttershy62 : But there were also some cupcakes that she made, all placed in a cute little basket.

Fluttershy63 : All of the cupcakes were frosted to look exactly like apples, but there little apple cakes on the inside.

Fluttershy64 : Oh my… I hope Granny Smith won’t feel like it’s some sort of baking competition…

Fluttershy65 : I-if I had to choose between one of the two of them… I-I don’t know what I’d do.

[Small Pause - Tea sip?]

Fluttershy66 : A-anyway, the reason why I bring it up, is because I need to go see Rarity about the new dress she’s making me for that night.

Fluttershy67 : I can’t wait to see it when it’s all done.

Fluttershy68 : She told me her designs were based around a mix of nature and country living, and when she showed me her first drawing, I instantly fell in love.

Fluttershy69 : The dress was a wonderful shade of cyan. Like my eyes, and had white lace accents all over.

Fluttershy70 : It wasn’t too bushy, so I wouldn’t stand out too much or have too many people looking at me.

Fluttershy71 : I-I’d hate to be in the spotlight all night. I think I’ve done enough modeling for one lifetime.

[Nervous Chuckle] [Small pause] [Quiet Throat Clear]

Fluttershy72 : Uhm. I’m just wondering if you’ll be there, cause… um. Well, I’ll be there.

Fluttershy73 : A-and I guessed you’d be there in your handsome suit.

Fluttershy74 : And-And. I-I was hoping to know, if you’d like it. The dress. W-when you see it, that is. Uhm.

Fluttershy75 : S-so anyway, I was taking care of the squirrels today.

Fluttershy76 : Those little rascals got into all sorts of trouble.

[Nervous Chuckle]

Fluttershy77 : When I found them today, they had gotten into a big bag of nuts that was supposed to last the rest of the week!

Fluttershy78 : They were all so full that they had wicked tummy aches.

Fluttershy79 : So, I gave them all some medicine that made their tummys feel better, but once they felt better, I put them to work.

Fluttershy80 : As a punishment, I gave them all little dusters and made them dust the whole cottage.

Fluttershy81 : Since there were three of them, and they are so quick, they got done in almost 30 minutes!

Fluttershy82 : It sure made things easier on me for today.

Fluttershy83 : I spend so much time taking care of the animals that it’s hard to make sure the house is nice and tidy.

Fluttershy84 : S-so, I suppose I got lucky that it looks so nice for your visit.

[Tea Sip]

Fluttershy85 : O-oh! Did I tell you about my recent trip to see the Breezies?
Fluttershy86 : Seabreeze sent me a letter about a holiday that their city was going to celebrate, and I just couldn’t refuse.
Fluttershy87 : I sent a letter back that I would love to join them in their traditions, and learn more about their people.
Fluttershy88 : Then, I immediately began to pack my bags.
Fluttershy89 : It was just the most enchanting trip.
Fluttershy90 : I took the train early in the morning, and it took a few hours to get there, but it was worth it.
Fluttershy91 : After that, It didn’t take too long to reach where their home was.
Fluttershy92 : When I arrived, they all came out to see me and welcome me with a little bracelet of flowers.
Fluttershy93 : The bracelet was so big for them, it took four of the little guys to lift it into the air.
Fluttershy94 : They’re still so cute.
Fluttershy95 : The holiday they invited me for was one they called “Fall Flitter”,
Fluttershy96 : Fall Flitter is one day a year that each of the friends and families from all over their settlement gather to give thanks
Fluttershy97 : Most of them spend the day cooking extravagant meals, sharing stories, or even playing games and sports with each other.
Fluttershy : But, this year, they wanted to do something very special, and invited me to join them as a thanks for helping them return home safely.
Fluttershy98 : Wasn’t that sweet of them?
Fluttershy99 : So, on the first day, they let me observe their little settlement from a magic portal they opened for the holiday weekend.
Fluttershy100 : In some ways, it was just like Ponyville, but miniaturized.
Fluttershy101 : Little dirt paved roads were filled with Breezies of all ages and sizes, all preparing for the big holiday.
Fluttershy102 : Then, they gave me a potion that would allow me to shrink down with them.
Fluttershy103 : Temporarily, of course. I felt a little silly that I packed things that didn’t shrink down with me, but now that I look back, it’s kinda funny.
Fluttershy104 : Seabreeze let me use the guest room of their home and join them for dinner.
Fluttershy105 : I couldn’t believe how different everything tastes when you’re small!
Fluttershy106 : All of the flavors taste much sweeter and one berry is enough to feed a whole family!
Fluttershy107 : We all played some family games that were a lot like, uhm… what was that game you taught us…
Fluttershy108 : Oh yes! Go-fish.
Fluttershy109 : After the children went to bed, Seabreeze and his wife asked if I would be interested in helping them cook for tomorrow.
Fluttershy110 : Of course, I couldn’t say no.
Fluttershy111 : The next day went by very, very quickly.
Fluttershy112 : While Seabreeze and the children cleaned and decorated the house for company, I helped his wife in the kitchen cook all sorts of things.
Fluttershy113 : There was diced berry and nectar salad, fresh cranberry juice and morning dew punch, honey tossed with shredded leaves and all sorts of interesting dishes that were foreign to me.
Fluttershy114 : I suppose when you’re that little, there aren’t many ingredients to choose from.
Fluttershy115 : When just about all the meal’s dishes were done, and the whole house smelled heavenly, all of the familiar, friendly faces of friends that I made from the migration came to join us for dinner.
Fluttershy116 : We all laughed, told stories, ate delicious foods and simply enjoyed everypony’s company.
Fluttershy117 : Normally I’d be nervous in such a large group of ponies, but they all made me feel right at home.
Fluttershy118 : I don’t think I ended up going to bed until almost 2 A.M!
Fluttershy119 : The next morning was a bit of a slow start, and a sad one, because I knew I had to make my train back to Ponyville.
Fluttershy120 : I gave everyone big hugs and promised that I’d keep writing, and that I’d use smaller paper next time, for their sake.
Fluttershy121 : It wasn’t long after flying out of their town that I returned to normal size and reclaimed my things.
Fluttershy122 : Of course, I couldn’t forget my little flower bracelet.
Fluttershy123 : [Giggle]
Fluttershy124 : I sure hope they invite me back again next year.
Fluttershy125 : Hopefully Maplewind will be able to tell his story about meeting that hummingbird if I’m able to go.

[First Smaller Pause?]

[Thunder]

Fluttershy126 : [Gulp/Yelp/Eeep/Scared Horse Noise]

Fluttershy127 : Oh goodness, I didn’t realize the storm got so bad.

Fluttershy128 : U-uhm. If it gets a little too nasty out, you could always stay the night.

Fluttershy129 : I-it’s not like anyone sleeps on the couch.

Fluttershy130 : E-except for Harry sometimes.

Fluttershy131 : But, that’s only when he has bad dreams.

Fluttershy132 : Um, but, yeah. I w-wouldn’t mind if you stayed.

Fluttershy133 : N-not because I’m scared of storms, but b-

[Thunder]

Fluttershy134 : [different Gulp/Yelp/Eeep/Scared Horse Noise]

Fluttershy135 : O-okay, maybe just a little...

Fluttershy136 : Oh my..It's a little chilly though... How about I start a fire?

Fluttershy136 : Just one second…

[Hoofsteps, the striking of a match.]

[Gently the sound of a fireside fades into the listener's audio.]

Fluttershy137 : There we are. Nice and cozy.

Fluttershy138 : When I was little, I always loved having the fire on when it was raining outside.

Fluttershy139 : It was so relaxing to me, and my Mom would sing me lullabies to help me sleep if there was thunder.

Fluttershy140 : I wish I could sing as well as my Mom could.

Fluttershy141 : I mean, I sing for the baby animals all the time… and I suppose for the Ponytones sometimes…

Fluttershy142 : But there’s something about her voice that was just… perfect for me.

Fluttershy143 : Now when it gets stormy out, I’ll just clench a pillow really tight and hide under the covers.

Fluttershy144 : You’d think I’d cuddle with Angel, right?

Fluttershy145 : Well, after a few… accidental squeezes from loud thunder, he doesn’t sleep with me anymore, and instead has his own little basket.

Fluttershy146 : So, now I just take my shower, and go to bed.

Fluttershy147 : A-after putting on P.J.’s, of course.

Fluttershy148 : And putting Angel to sleep.

Fluttershy149 : Every night I have to make sure Angel gets his mid-night carrot and a glass of water before I sing him a lullaby.

Fluttershy150 : He really is so cute when he sleeps.

[light bunny foot thump]

Fluttershy151 : [Giggle]

Fluttershy152 : Even if he doesn’t want to admit it.

Fluttershy153 : But, I’ll sing for him the same lullaby that my mother sang to me when I was a filly.

Fluttershy154 : It just feels right to me.

Fluttershy155 : I mean, if it would put me to sleep, surely it would work for other animals.

Fluttershy156 : And, it always does.

[Longer Pause]

[Angel begins to snore]

Fluttershy157 : Oh my, looks like a certain little bunny couldn’t manage to keep his eyes open.

Fluttershy158 : Do you mind if I just put him to bed really quick? I promise it will just take a few minutes.

[Count to 3 pause]

Fluttershy159 : Okay. I’ll be right back. Don’t go anywhere. Just make sure the fire doesn’t get too weak.

[Hoofsteps]

[Long pause - Minutes?]

[Hoofsteps]

Fluttershy160 : Okay. Sorry about that.

Fluttershy161 : Now, where was I?

Fluttershy162 : W-wait, I didn’t wake you up, did I?

Fluttershy163 : I-I can be quiet, if you’d like.

Fluttershy164 : It is getting pretty late.

Fluttershy165 : Go ahead and close your eyes, I won’t mind.

Fluttershy166 : I’m going to be right here.

Fluttershy167 : I’ll happily listen if you want to tell me something.

Fluttershy168 : I’m just going to sit here and have the rest of this tea.

Fluttershy169 : Go ahead and rest..

[Short pause]

Fluttershy170 : That’s better.

[Long pause - 15 Minutes]

[To keep with the presented story, it would be AWESOME if we could get Shellah to sing a lullaby for the reader. Optional though]

Fluttershy171 : O-oh… did you fall asleep?

Fluttershy172 : I-it’s okay. Just rest.

Fluttershy173 : I’m sure you had a big day today.

Fluttershy174 : Just relax and listen to the gentle fire and the raindrops outside.

Fluttershy175 : I’m not going anywhere.

Fluttershy176 : I’ll be right here.

[Long Pause - 15 Minutes]

Fluttershy177 : I think I’m beginning to get sleepy too.

Fluttershy178 : I might just… rest my head on this pillow here.

Fluttershy179 : I wouldn’t want to leave you all alone down here.
