  4. A Darker Home 4
  5.
  6. "Maybe we should try to leave the doors that we've explored open... just so we know where we have been."
  7. >"Probably not a bad idea Anon." says Twilight.
  8. >After what was just witnessed, everyone seems to be in fairly high spirits.
  9. >Twilight could be onto something, if the group cleared the house of the other spirits, maybe Gertude won't have a reason to stay.
  10. >The house did feel a little bit warmer, and a little less oppressive.
  11. >This doesn't stop you from keeping your guard up as you make your way accross the hallway to the next closed door.
  12. >Now that it was completely black outside, Twilight was the sole source of light in the house, making the tight doorways and halls feel like cages.
  13. >The areas unlit by Twilight's magic feel like endless voids of space.
  14. >The blackness in this house didn't just feel like being in the dark.
  15. >If it were that, you could handle it.
  16. >Being surrounded by the blackness... felt like you were being watched.
  17. >Looking at the girls, you nod to them.
  18. "Be ready for anything."
  19. >You open the door slowly, letting the glow from Twilight's horn fill the room
  20. >The door creaks open slowly, only showing a foot of the room at a time.
  21. >This room also had a tiled floor, and seemed to be one of the dirtiest rooms in the house yet.
  22. >A strange odor filled the room as you sneak your way inside.
  23. "What's that smell?" You say to no one in-particular.
  24. >You hear the girls make their way in too, judging by the sound of hoofsteps on tile.
  25. >As Twilight makes her way into the room, more fixtures begin to take shape.
  26. >An oven, a sink with dirty dishes, and counter tops begin to take shape in the darkness.
  27. >A large brown stain tints the color of the tiles within a few feet of the sink.
  28. >On the counter top, remains of what may have once been food is stuck to the surface.
  29. >Around the food is many different forms of cutting trays, utensils, and cooking supplies.
  30. >However, what grabs your eye is a large, rusted butcher knife.
  31. >You stroll over to it, and pick it up with a swift hand.
  32. >>Recommended Listening: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fk25iAmpfME
  33. >It's light, and upon closer inspection, doesn't seem so bad.
  34. >In fact, it hardily seems rusted at all.
  35. >The blade shines from the sunlight that streams in through a nearby window.
  36. >Looking around the room, you see a young filly cleaning dishes.
  37. >She's vibrant for such a little filly, and she seems to be reading while she works, based on the story she is reading out loud.
  38. >"As Daring Doo trec... trekked through the t-tropical jungle"
  39. >That's when she entered the room.
  40. >With a long silver mane, and a large baseball bat held in her mouth.
  41. >She seemed to be angry and walking straight towards the little filly.
  42. >"... the wet heat s-sapped her energy and sl... slowed her every step."
  43. >You can't let this happen.
  44. >Holding the knife firmly in your hand, you charge towards your rapist
  45. >"If only she could escape this oppon... oppressive atmosphere...
  46. "Don't you fucking touch her!"
  47. >An invisible force forces you to stop... and you are unable to move.
  48. >"and fly up into the cool blue sky."
  49. >You watch helplessly as the bat came down full force on the filly's head.
  50. >The filly falls off her stepstool, and onto the ground, where she lays lifeless.
  51. >Darkness floods the room again, as your eyes try to adjust to the violet magic around you.
  52. >Fluttershy is collapsed in front of you, shaking in pure terror
  53. >You drop the knife from your hand, which is raised up above your head.
  54. >The knife breaks a tile as it connects with the floor.
  55. >"Anon... is it... over?"
  56. "I... think so."
  57. >"What was it this time."
  58. "It was her... and she was attacking this little filly."
  59. >You lean down to help Fluttershy up, but she slowly gets up on her own, watching you carefully.
  60. "She was reading a book... I think it was a Daring Doo book, while she was doing dishes."
  61. >Twilight nods carefully.
  62. "Then, she just came in... with a bat, and... she didn't even see it coming."
  63. >The gravity of what you just saw begins to weigh down on you.
  64. >You fall to your knees, remembering how she looked on the floor.
  65. >Her eyes stared off at something that you couldn't see.
  66. >Something that wasn't in the room.
  67. >Covering your face in your hands, you feel a hoof being put on your shoulder.
  68. >"It's okay...."
  69. >You nod your head.
  70. >"It doesn't hurt anymore."
  71. >You open your eyes again, and turn around to see another faded filly standing behind you.
  72. >Giving her a light smile, a thought occurs to you.
  73. "Why did you stop hiding?"
  74. >"I was in the knife, but I wanted you to see something first before I came out."
  75. >She looks down at the ground, and kicks the tiles with a ghostly hoof.
  76. >"I didn't think what I would show you would make you try to hurt somepony... I'm sorry."
  77. >Fluttershy steps forward.
  78. >"I-it's okay. I-I'll be fine."
  79. >You give the back of her ears a quick scratch.
  80. "Sorry Fluttershy."
  81. >The filly continues staring at the ground.
  82. >"Do you want to know what I did to make her do that?"
  83. >You turn to face her completely, and try to place your hand on her.
  84. >Surprisingly, her form is solid, despite it's looks.
  85. "Only if you want to share."
  86. >She gives a heavy sigh.
  87. >"Gertrude always hated it when I read. We always had to be absolutely quiet whenever we weren't in class."
  88. >"Then later on, we weren't even allowed to do that. So, a lot of us began to have trouble reading, since we couldn't sound out the words."
  89. >Twilight slowly makes her way over to the filly and sits down.
  90. >"So, whenever I would do dishes, I would try to read out loud, hoping that the sound of the water would hide my reading.
  91. >Fluttershy nudges you, and hands you what looks to be an old dusty book.
  92. >"I always loved reading, so I tried to read whenever I got the chance, and even began to take some risks. One day I got caught, and she warned me that I was only allowed to read in class."
  93. >Twilight's eyes are locked on the filly, the filly begins to talk directly to Twilight.
  94. >"But... I just couldn't stop.... I just couldn't."
  95. >"You needed to know how it ended...." says Twilight understandingly.
  96. >The filly begins to slowly sob.
  97. >You wipe the dust off of the book.
  98. "Daring Doo, and the Quest for the Sapphire Statue."
  99. >Her eyes light up a little bit.
  100. >You hand the book to Twilight, knowing that this is her territory.
  101. >"Now tell me... where did you last leave off?"
  102. >Some time passes as you sit in the room with Twilight, Fluttershy and the little filly, listening to Twilight read.
  103. >The book isn't massive, but for a beginner reader, it could definitely be difficult.
  104. >Twilight knew just all of the points to change her voice to make things sound more dramatic.
  105. >She even gave the characters different voices.
  106. >The little filly was just eating it all up.
  107. >"And so, with Ahuizotl defeated and the Sapphire Statue secured, the world was safe and sound once again. Thanks to Daring Doo!"
  108. >Twilight closes the book and gives the filly a deep smile.
  109. >"That was amazing! Is there more? I need to know what happens next!"
  110. >"Of course there is! This book is a classic."
  111. >"But how will I read them?"
  112. >The three of you pause.
  113. >>Reccommened Listening: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qycqF1CWcXg
  114. >Twilight is the first to speak up.
  115. >"Well... maybe, you will be able to find them... up there."
  116. >She motions to the sky with a hoof, but you all know what she means.
  117. >"Does that mean... that I will be able to read? I won't be hit for it?"
  118. >Twilight nods with a gentle smile.
  119. >"You will never be hit up there."
  120. >The kitchen door opens slowly, bathing the room in white light.
  121. >An yellowish mare with dark hair walks out of the doorway, and moves beside you.
  122. >She kneels down to the little filly's level, and gives her a wide smile.
  123. >"Hey there kiddo. What's your name?"
  124. >Twilight's eyes and mouth widen a little bit.
  125. >"My name is Melody... What's your name?"
  126. >"I'm Daring... and I was told that you are a pretty cool little filly."
  127. >Her eyes widen, and you can see the color slowly return to the filly's coat.
  128. >"D-Daring... Doo?"
  129. >Daring Doo smiles down at the little filly.
  130. >"The one and only!"
  131. >Her hair slowly begins to turn into a beautiful shade of yellow.
  132. >"But I thought that you were in the book..."
  133. >"That doesn't mean I'm not real kiddo. I'm right here. Inside you."
  134. >Daring takes her hoof, and points it to the filly's head.
  135. >Her eyes light up as she begins to believe what she is seeing.
  136. >"Come on girl! Wanna go on an adventure?"
  137. >Daring takes her signature hat and puts it on Melody's head as she wipes tears out of her eyes.
  138. >"Yes... Yes! Let's go on an adventure!"
  139. >Daring takes Melody and puts her on her back.
  140. >"Thank you... Twilight... Anon... Fluttershy. I hope you can find my friends. Please help them... and listen to them."
  141. >You nod to her, as the door slowly closes behind Melody as she begins a chapter of a brand new adventure.
  142. >>Please pause your music.
  143.
  144. >The three of you rise to your feet, with a feeling of warmth in your hearts.
  145. >Whatever force was helping you with these fillies tonight, really knew what it was doing.
  146. >The three of you make your way into the hallway, but you feel a warm breath on the back of your neck.
  147. >You turn around, but find nothing.
  148. >A whisper fills your ears.
  149. >"If you fight it, you will regret it."
  150. >A shiver runs up your spine as you move quickly to rejoin the others.
  151. >You wipe a drip of sweat from your forehead.
  152. "N-next room guys?"
  153. >Twilight returns to her serious attitude and nods her head.
  154. >The door knob feels cold in your hand, and a bad vibe tugs at the hair behind your neck.
  155. >You rip the door open to find a closet filled with boxes and boxes of items.
  156. "Twilight, could you give us a little more light?
  157. >"Well... I can focus it, but lets not do it for long."
  158. >The light behind Twilight begins to fade as a cone of light fills the room.
  159. >You step into the closet as the violet light fills the room.
  160. >Different boxes of food, cleaning supplies, kitchen necessities, and dining utensils fill the closet, but there isn't really anything of note in here.
  161. "Well, that's disappointing."
  162. >Stepping out of the closet, the hallway feels much colder and the darkness feels thicker.
  163. "Twilight, change your light back..."
  164. >"Okay, just a second."
  165. >The light begins to slowly return to it's normal glow.
  166. >You begin to be able to see your hands again, but what you can't see... is Fluttershy.
  167. >Oh no.
  168. "Fluttershy... where are you?"
  169. >Looking up and down the hallway reveals no answers.
  170. >You make your way to the unexplored section of the hallway when you see a slightly open door, and a light moan.
  171. >Looking at Twilight, you see the worry in her eyes.
  172. >Nodding, you enter the room slowly.
  173. >>Recommended music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PU_s8D6cI9M
  174. >The door closes behind you.
  175. >Turning around, you try to open it, but it won't budge.
  176. >Placing your back against the door, you turn to face the pitch-black.
  177. >A candle lights itself from the center of the room, then from the corners, and slowly across the whole room.
  178. >This has to be one of the most ornate master bedrooms that you have ever seen.
  179. >The bed is lined with curtains, and a large rug covers the floor.
  180. >Weapons and blunt objects line the walls, each with their own picture of a little filly.
  181. >Next to a wooden bat, you see a picture of Melody.
  182. >Near a small knife, sat a picture of the filly from the bathroom.
  183. >Hate and anger begins to fill your insides as a light illuminates the scene inside of the curtains.
  184. >Two ponies seem to be locked in a loving embrace, but one of them is fighting to get away.
  185. >No sound emanates from the curtains, but you can hear the mattress squeak and see wings flapping in an attempt to escape.
  186. >By the time you reach the bedside, the attacker pony seems to be gone, and the pegasus seems to have given up or calmed down.
  187. >You grab a curtain cautiously.
  188. >The pegasus straightens it's wings and lays down on the bed.
  189. >Opening the curtain, Fluttershy lays sprawled out on the bed, giving you bedroom eyes.
  190. >"Hey there Anon... looks like you found a keeper right here..."
  191. >Her voice sounds nothing like Fluttershy.
  192. "Get out of her."
  193. >She sits up on the bed and brings a hoof to your face.
  194. >"But then... we couldn't have any fun now could we."
  195. "No, I refuse to do that to her. This is sick."
  196. >She grabs a knife from under a pillow and holds it to her neck.
  197. >You freeze.
  198. >"Oh... now I have your attention... I'll live, but she might not be so lucky now would she?"
  199. >The room fills with silence.
  200. >"Come in Anon... it's time to have a little fun..."
  201. >You begrudgingly crawl onto the bed, and shut the curtain as the impostor pats the spot next to her.
  202. >"Now hold on. Don't you move a muscle..."
  203. >She slowly lifts your shirt off of you, and begins to kiss your chest.
  204. >You have to admit that if this were under different terms with the real Fluttershy, this might be pretty nice.
  205. >If you stay strong, maybe it could be a reality one day.
  206. >Her body is cold, too cold for something living as she moves her way down to your pants.
  207. >She rubs her hoof on your limp member.
  208. >"Aww... not enjoying yourself? Maybe I can get some help from my guest..."
  209. >"O-oh... Anon... I love you soo much..."
  210. >The sound of Fluttershy's voice rings bells in your ears.
  211. >Snap out of it!
  212. >You have to keep perspective.
  213. >This isn't Fluttershy.
  214. >She unzips your pants and pulls them down to reveal your hardening staff.
  215. >"O-oh... m-my... it's so big..."
  216. >You look away as she wraps her lips around your member.
  217. >Feeling her tongue wrapping around you sends guilty signals of pleasure through your body.
  218. >Stay focused!
  219. >If you could just get the knife away from her, maybe you can try and get her out of Fluttershy.
  220. >She takes a hoof to begin rubbing your shaft while she pays attention to your head.
  221. >Suddenly you get an idea.
  222. "Oh... yeah! I'm almost there... oh Shy...."
  223. >You aren't sure if the imposter's face began to turn red, or if it was the true host, but her attention begins to focus on the task at hand.
  224. >"Cum for me Anon... Cum for momma!"
  225. >Beginning to fake the beginning of your orgasm, you arch your back.
  226. >Then with all your might, push forward to headbutt Gertrude.
  227. >Stars fill your vision as you try to wrestle the knife out of the dazed pegasus's hoof.
  228. >Blood begins to trail out of your hand, but you manage to grab it.
  229. >Cutting a hole in the curtain, you jump out of the bed and Stab the weapon as deep into the wall as possible.
  230. >As you turn around, you see a yellow blur just before you are tackled to the ground.
  231. >Gertrude must have underestimated your strength without her magic, as you easily overpower her and put her in a choke hold.
  232. >You watch as she strains to breath underneath you.
  233. >"That's right.... kill me..."
  234. >You wait until she begins to stop fighting.
  235. >Fluttershy's eyes redialate.
  236. >You take a deep breath, and do everything you can to blow the fresh air back into her lungs.
  237. >She coughs and gasps for air, and rolls across the floor.
  238. >Twilight bashes through the door, blowing out all the candles.
  239. >"What happened!"
  240. >You look down at your naked form, and pull your pants up.
  241. "I think she possessed Fluttershy."
  242. >Twilight turns her gaze to Fluttershy, who is staring at the floor.
  243. >"How do we know if this is Fluttershy."
  244. >"She is."
  245. >Your attention turns to a little filly standing in a corner of the room.
  246. >"I-I don't see her in there anymore."
  247. >You walk over to Fluttershy as Twilight goes to take care of the filly.
  248. >Getting on her level, you bring your hands to her face.
  249. >You speak to her in the softest voice you can muster.
  250. "Hey there..."
  251. >She pushes her face away from your hands, leaving them wet with tears.
  252. >Her sobs are starting to become more audible.
  253. >You cradle her in your arms.
  254. "Shhh.... it's okay."
  255. >"It was a vision Anon... I swear...."
  256. "I know Shy, I know...."
  257. >She cries into your shirt as you gently stroke her mane.
  258. >Her warmth was gradually returning, which you guess was a good sign.
  259. >Eventually the sobs begin to die down.
  260. >"Hey guys... you should come over here..."
  261. >You nod to Twilight.
  262. "You going to be alright Shy?"
  263. >She pulls herself away from your chest and gives you a shaky nod.
  264. >The two of you walk over to the little filly.
  265. "I hope you didn't have to watch all the things that happened..."
  266. >She nods her head fearfully.
  267. "I'm really sorry then."
  268. >"It's... okay. ... It's not the first time I was forced to watch something like that."
  269. >Your words begin to fail you, as the inevitable question of which part she referred to sits behind your lips.
  270. >"Did... did she..." stutters out Fluttershy.
  271. >"Every night. It wasn't always the same stallion."
  272. >The filly looks to the ground.
  273. >"Sometimes, after they were done with her... they would ask if... if..."
  274. >She bursts into ghostly tears.
  275. >Fluttershy wraps a hoof around the little filly.
  276. >"I'm... I'm so sorry."
  277. >"She made me swear not to tell the others... or it would happen to them too... I couldn't let that happen to them."
  278. >A roaring flame emanates from the pit of your stomach.
  279. >Getting rid of Gertrude was no longer optional to you.
  280. >She had to pay for her actions.
  281. >"Was there anyone who helped you feel better? After..."
  282. >The little filly's sniffles lessened.
  283. >"There was one friend... other than the girls... who would help me when those bad things happened."
  284. >She looked up into Fluttershy's eyes.
  285. >"There was this puppy... he hid underneath the porch and I would feed him scraps of dinner that I would hide for him.
  286. >Fluttershy nods at her.
  287. >"But... When she found out. She... She... She made me watch her do it."
  288. >She bursts into tears anew.
  289. >You stand up and walk over to the door.
  290. >Looking up at the ceiling, and take a deep breath.
  291. >After two times, you just gotta believe this will work.
  292. >Just have faith.
  293. >>Recommended Listening: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=qycqF1CWcXg#t=4607
  294. >You open the door, filling the room with white light.
  295. >The filly doesn't even seem to notice with her eyes shut.
  296. >Running in the distance, you see a small hound running towards the door.
  297. >"I would do anything just to see him again."
  298. >As he closes the distance, you see the joyful look on the little hound as a small tennis ball is held in his mouth.
  299. >"Just one last time. I've never felt so alone..."
  300. >The little pup slows down as he gets nearer to the room.
  301. >"He would always make me smile... even after she hit me too hard, or I started to bleed."
  302. >Fluttershy holds her, tears forming in her eyes, already predicting what was going to happen.
  303. >"Sometimes that's all I needed to make my day a little bit better."
  304. >The puppy enters the room, and walks right up to the little filly, with his tail wagging as hard as its little body could muster.
  305. >It smils the biggest smile the animal could as it gave a small yip.
  306. >The filly opens her eyes with wide shock.
  307. >The hound trots up to her and licks her hoof, which was slowly beginning to turn pink.
  308. >She nearly collapses and picks the dog up in her hooves to cradle it.
  309. >Her face was being littered with sloppy, happy kisses, wiping up the salty tears.
  310. >"I've missed you so much Buddy."
  311. >The smile on this filly's face would have to measured in miles.
  312. >She gasps loudly.
  313. >"IS THAT YOUR BALL?"
  314. >The hound barks excitedly and squirms out of her arms to hand it to her.
  315. >She takes the ball in her hoof and runs to the middle of the room.
  316. >"You want the ball boy? You want the ball?"
  317. >The dog leaps about through the air, and yips at her.
  318. >She laughs and throws the ball out through the door.
  319. >"Let's go get it!"
  320. >The hound sprints to the door, but waits for her.
  321. >The little filly looks to Fluttershy and smiles.
  322. >"Thank you..."
  323. >Fluttershy wipes tears from her eyes.
  324. >"Go have fun you two."
  325. >She smiles, and looks to Buddy.
  326. >"Let's go boy!"
  327. >The two of them run through the door, as it slowly closes behind them.
