Moderator Guidelines

This is a set of guidelines to help moderators decide what actions to take in various situations. This will not only for cases of rule breaking, but also in various scenarios and interactions with chatters that may present themselves.

this is structured into 5 parts:

Illegal activity moderation

Spam moderation

Politcal/religious discussion moderation

Bullying Moderation

Interacting with chatters

Stream faults

Hopefully these will assist with how to respond to the various happenings that may occur, of course there may come a completely new event that is not covered here, if that happens simply inform Xander and he will address it.




Illegal Activity Definition:

Illegal activities include adults and children dating(or attempting to) terrorism, doxxing among countless other potential crimes.

If in the case of a potential illegal relationship inform Xander Immediately and he will investigate it thoroughly before taking any further steps. In these cases it may be a more serious problem that needs looking at.

If any other kind of illegal activity is detected, a person must be timed out if it is accidental (Eg a kid telling too much info about themselves in the chat such as his school or street) if it not accidental and they must be told why and to stop what they are doing.

If someone is doing something illegal in a bid to attack someone in the chat or the owner they must be banned on sight with zero explanation

Any alt that is used to get around a timeout or ban must be banned immediately in any case.




Spam Definition:

Spam is any message or random collection of letters that is repeated 3 or more times and is not allowed if it wasn't asked for in the stream. Spam may also take form of promoting ones self and names that are so long that they actually fill 1/3 of the chat box.

If someone spams time them out for 5 minutes without informing them or warning them first (they know what they did)

If they do it again time them out for 1 day. Again, without warning them.

if arriving at a stream and there is spam in the chat that has not yet been removed, time the person out for ten second to clear the chat for the non moderators. No one wants to join a stream that is full of un-moderated spam.

Any alt that is used to get around a timeout or ban must be banned immediately in any case.




No political or religious discussion in the chat definition:

Absolutely no political or religious discussion in the chat must take place, including preaching, political debate or ridicule of other religions or political ideologies. Youtube HAVE struck the channel in the past for political reasons.

a person who does this must be warned and if they attempt to fight you or ignore you they must be timed out for 24 hours and permanently if they come back and try it again.

Any alt that is used to get around a timeout or ban must be banned immediately in any case.



Bullying Definition:

Bullying can range from simple telling others in the chat they suck to name calling of the owner and others in the chat.

It can also take the form of ageism (attacking someone because they are older or younger than themselves)

Any hint of bullying in the chat and the person must be timed out for a length of time decided by the moderator themselves, based on how serious they think it is.

Any alt that is used to get around a timeout or ban must be banned immediately in any case.




Interacting with people:

Interacting with subscribers must be done in a manner that makes them not feel threatned or challeneged by the owner or mods, this means:

Do not argue with them.

Do not respond to spam, simply time them out as instructed above.

if a person says they are unsubscribing, simply say "ok bye bye"




Stream Faults:

Any issue with the stream inclusing lion bot outages, crashed games and no loading should be reported to xander in the mod server by tagging him as he has most messages muted.
